History & Events
Born to a mother he barely remembers, except that she loved him, and has no memory of a father.
When his Fire affinity was tested at five years old, he was removed from his mother and sent to the hearthhold, Kindlepoint, for training within the combat ording.
When he was old enough, he traveled back to his original hearthhold but found it transformed into a coldhold, abandoned. He doesn't remember his mother's name. He doesn't remember his birth name. They are incapable of finding each other because so many mothers and sons share their story.
He regularly visits the Coldhold in hopes his mother does, too, as it was the last place they were together.

Lineage & Body
Age: 310 (see History), looks like late 20’s
Skin: Warm tan, sun-kissed, golden undertone
Build: Tall, athletic, muscular. Imposing. Not lithe. Will fill a doorway, but not quite “football linebacker” type
Wings: Dark crimson with orange accents.
Hair: Long, straight, finger combed. Dark warm brown.
Eyes: Light warm orange-kissed brown
Empowered state: Embedded Talisman glows blue and orange under his right collarbone.
Personality
When comfortable, he is boisterous and carefree, always ready for a belly laugh. When guarded, he is silent and watchful. Calculating. Sarcastic and snide if his buttons are pushed. Fiercely loyal.
Body language: When comfortable, he is light, relaxed, with an infectious smile on his face. When guarded, he is the danger of calm stillness ready to strike.
Hair: Kept long. Tied in a bun for physical labor and fighting, but kept down and flowing when relaxing.
Clothes: Prefers comfort and utility. Enjoys freedom of movement, so he'll only wear pants, even forego shoes, if he is allowed to. Easily feels confined so chooses light unrestrictive clothing.
Armor: Dark crimson with orange highlights and black under layers. Embodies the scales of water, feathers of wings, and licking flames of fire. Light and unrestrictive, flows around him like water or flame.
Magical Powers
As a Windborne, they can summon and dismiss wings and use them to fly.

Full Talisman Powers
Damion has access to power Abyss and Fire magics through his talisman. The ability to wield magic in battle takes time to train. These are the powers he has focused on:
Personal powerups using Abyss Magic:
- Slip-entry. Your shoulders, hips, and spine yield around contact, letting you slide past guards and wedges. You get inside their line without eating the full block
- Grapple theft. You can flow out of grips and then re-form into a better hold.
- Angle cheating. You can strike from ugly angles because your joints can temporarily accept weird alignment without getting injured. You can hook around their guard in ways that would normally be mechanically unsafe.
- Impact smear. When you strike, your body can keep “pouring” through the contact. Instead of bouncing off, you stay attached and keep applying pressure until you decide to stop. Perfect for elbows, knees, head control, and body-to-body fighting.
- Fatigue drag on the opponent. Their counters keep meeting a target that yields and shifts, which forces them to overcorrect repeatedly. They tire faster because they cannot get clean purchase.
- Joint escape. Locks and throws rely on crisp hinge points. Infused Abyss gives your joints controlled slip so the exact leverage point is harder to catch. You become frustrating to submit.
- Glancing-body. Blunt strikes do not land clean. Your tissues yield and redirect force, turning a punch into a shove and a shove into a slide. You get bruised instead of broken.
- Cut blunting. Blades lose bite because your surface gives with the edge. Cuts become shallower, and the force that would drive the cut deeper gets smeared sideways.
- Hard-strike framing. By removing internal “give,” your body becomes a better lever. Punches, kicks, and weapon swings hit with sharper penetration because less energy gets absorbed by your own tissues.
- Grip bite. Your hands become less slippery and more structurally locked. Clinches and weapon grips become harder to peel off.
- Emotion sensing. He can sense the presence of minds around him and what their louder emotions are.
Personal power ups using Fire Magic:
- Increase stamina through energy management.
- Increase endurance by keeping cool through exertion.
Fire Magic against an enemy:
- Vision wrecking
- Overheating
- Swelling, exasperating injuries and slowing joint movement
Other Fire Magic skills:
- Heating and cooling objects
- Battlefield cauterizing
Fighting Style
He is a close-range pressure predator with excellent battlefield mobility. He destroys enemy morale by his mere presence in the battlefield and is deployed to break enemy lines. He gets inside the opponent’s space, ruins their ability to hold shape, then kills before they can reset.
His mortal specialties are:
- Grappling and clinch-fighting. Attaches to or flows around the enemy.
- Short-spear and short-blade specialist. He slips through guards and slaughters.
- Short-range aerial assault, tactical shock mobility. He thinks in three dimensions.
- Battlefield control. He holds until attack matters most, then commits hard. He reads both his allies and enemy morale.
Primary weapon: Heavy short spear. It works on foot and aerial plunges. Long reach that can be shortened into clinch range. Doesn’t require large wind-up cuts.
Secondary weapon: Inward-curving war knife. Finishing in compressed spaces. Clinch kills, under-rib work, hamstringing.
With magic, his attack style is:
- Enter: Infuse his body with Abyss for extra flexibility to enter the opponent’s guard. He enters through flight drops, diagonal rushes, weird shoulder entries, half-feints that become full commitment, contact that looks mistimed until suddenly he’s there
- Attach: He aims for contact. Arm drag, collar tie, shoulder jam, hip pressure.
- Distort: Injects Fire into the opponent’s body to cause vision blurring, swelling, and overheating which causes reaction times to slow and tissue damage to worsen. He remains flexible so counters slide or don’t gain purchase.
- Finish: Drain his body of Abyss for hard framing and decisive killing blows.
The opponent spends the exchange trying to catch water, then suddenly gets hit by stone.
What opponents say about him:
- He was on me before I understand where he came from
- I could never get a clean hold
- Every time I thought I had him, he changed shape
- I got so hot I couldn’t concentrate
- Fighting him is exhausting
Relationships
Mother: Missing. Unknown identity.
Father: Unknown
Siblings: Unknown
Notable relationships:
- Mulsae: Former slave owner and now companion
- Viri: Counselor and companion
Clarise Fellmark
Love interest.
Damion craves someone who:
- Takes charge without cruelty
- Affirms his value through consistency and quiet protection
- Provides emotional structure
Clarise Fellmark can give that—but only when she chooses. She enjoys being the one to grant safety. She’s affectionate in controlled ways: brushing his hair out of his face, cupping his jaw when he spirals—but she always holds the center of gravity in the relationship.
She is subtle, controlling, and grounding.

The common language is English but the script is in Korea’s Hangul.
The “quick brown fox” equivalent in Latin letters is “A quick-witted wizard bluffs, vexes, and jumps through foggy hex gates while brewing opaque elixirs.”
In Hangul it is:
어 퀵-위티드 위자드 블러프스, 벡시즈, 앤 점프스 쓰루 포기 헥스 게이츠 와일 브루잉 오페이크 엘릭시얼스.
That script represents these sounds:
