The planet evolved a dominant sentient being that looks and behaves much like how Earth Humans do. However, when the Celestials came, they altered a select few humans, creating Immortals whose bodies are alive with Magic. The Starborne are infused with one or two types of Trigram Magic, while the Windborne are infused with one or two types of Phase Magic, and have the ability to summon wings. The Celestials’ work to imbue the land with magic also had a side effect of allowing non-biological Spirits to enter and engage with the material realm.
