Significant Events
Almost a year after Ellara Fellmark leaves home, Clarise Fellmark and Reed Fellmark’s Celestial-Hybrid nature cannot be hidden: Their eyes glow. They are banished from their community and seek out Ellara Fellmark for sanctuary.
Lineage & Body
An Immortal whose mother was a Celestial-Hybrid from the ☴ Wind Sanctum and father a Human. Lives closely to a Talisman of Suppression that makes them seem like a frail human.
Age: 20
Skin: Pale
Build: Shorter than average, sturdy bone structure, but underweight and frail
Face:
Hair: Dark purple black with light purple highlights. Always appears “wind blown” or tousled.
Eyes: Dark violet when Talisman suppressed, but bright crystal amethysts when unsuppressed
Empowered state: Glowing violet eyes. Purple highlights in her hair glow. Violet aura unfurls like a living breeze, and her body seems weightless, hair and robes lifting even in still air.
Personality
Polite and unassuming, he's quietly resentful of the expectations he once carried. Withdraws first, then speaks softly—but when he finally speaks, it’s devastating. Loyal to a fault, slow to open, and afraid of losing himself—but secretly romantic
Hexagram: Nothing over Wind. Pure trigram manifestation.
Culture: Raised as a human of a secluded clan that lived as primarily hunter gatherers. Taboo to interact with Immortals.
Body language: Polite, unassuming, likable
Hair: Long and tied back.
Clothes: Practical, with quiet dignity. Fitted linen natural colored undershirt, soft, breathable. Worn but well-maintained tunic or shirt in forest tones.
Wind trigram
- Deeply observant, especially emotionally
- Patient and responsive—he doesn’t force, he absorbs and responds
- Quietly intelligent—strategic in how he engages with people Naturally supportive rather than assertive
But unlike Clarise Fellmark, who wields Wind like a scalpel, Reed Fellmark internalizes Wind. He’s shaped by it. Instead of cutting through others, it flows through him—he bends with the breeze.
First son, third child
As the third child, he’s overlooked, a quiet presence between two more assertive siblings.
As the first son, he’s burdened with future expectations—marriage, leadership, legacy.
This tension gives him:
- A conflict between duty and identity
- A quiet resentment that only shows when pressed
- A tendency to be deferential, even when he’s right
- A deep desire to earn his place by contribution, not inheritance
Magical Powers
Suppressed State
The continuous close proximity to the Talisman of suppression embedded in their sister causes them to become indistinguishable from a frail Human
Empowered State
Once out of the range of the Talisman, their powers gradually return. It can take over a year for full power to return, but their unmistakable glowing eyes can no longer be ignored before a year.
A pure embodiment of the powers granted by the ☴ Wind Sanctum because they have only the single Wind Trigram.
- Control over air. Limited. Short pulse of air. Redirect air flow.
- Penetrate boundaries. Limited.
- Ungraspable. Limited.
- Levitation. Limited time.
Relationships
Mother: Ms Fellmark, Nothing over Wind
Father: Mr Fellmark, no hexagram
Siblings: Ellara Fellmark and Clarise Fellmark
Chooses to remain single until he can figure out what he wants now that he's no longer constrained by his original culture.
- Early: He tried to be what was expected—stoic, dutiful, heteronormative, traditional
- After exile: For the first time, he allows himself to ask, What do I want?
- Now: He avoids romantic entanglement—not out of disinterest, but because he’s not ready to let himself be defined by another’s desires yet again
He is:
- Nurturing, but uncomfortable being needed
- Affectionate, but only in low-stakes relationships
- Admires strength in others, especially when it’s gentle
- Unconsciously drawn to people who defy expectations because he longs to do the same
